Belgrave Place, Brighton - Private Commission

I had the pleasure of being commissioned to completely redesign the interior of a stunning private residence in Kemptown, Brighton.

This wonderful townhouse was full of architectural features, ornate fireplaces, columns and artistic detail throughout its many rooms. The owners of the property invited me to design and produce the wallpaper, interior textiles, tiles, furniture finishes and also some bespoke chairs. It was an ambitious and very rewarding project.

I created three bespoke wallpapers which were engineered to fit in with the architectural features. The printed wallpaper had to sit perfectly around the fireplaces and internal doors. The textiles were all bespoke designs and printed on luxurious velvets for the upholstery and satins for the drapes. We also brought new life to an antique screen by re-upholstering it in a unique luxury print.

There was a small outdoor space which the clients wished to add an artistic feature to. I created a beautiful, contemporary mural in my signature style featuring elements of Brighton's famous regency architecture and had the design printed on to procaine tiles. The result was a fantastic decorative mural for this part of the property. 

My artwork also adorns the furniture and cupboards, all hand-drawn and then lacquered to create a superb finish.
