Monochrome Tweed Silk Scarf
Monochrome Tweed Silk Scarf
Monochrome tweed, inspired by my hand weaving days, it’s all about weave and fringe.
A beautiful large silk scarf, a one-off that its soft enough to wrap around your neck, but large enough to use as a sarong or lay on your bed.
The scarf is printed in the UK, and machine hemmed in Brighton. This is a totally unique scarf, only one has been cut from the print.
The fabric is 98% silk and 2% Lycra, it has a beautiful hang and a slight stretch. The Lycra stops the silk from creasing and gives it a beautiful drape. Hand wash, and iron on the wrong side with a cool iron. Although silk is delicate, it is hardwearing, and with care and love will last forever.
Thanks to my Muse Anna-May Wong for modeling this scarf, creating new images at the moment is a little tricky thanks to lockdown and as Anna has featured in lots of my work I thought she would be a fitting stand-in!
